I. Revision: (25’)
1. Passive form of present simple tense:
- Ask Ss to give form of passive form with
present simple tense.
Ex: They dry the glass pieces completely.
-> The glass pieces are dried completely.
- Consolidate the knowledge.
* Form: S + am/is/are + p.p + (by + O)
2. Passive form of past simple tense:
- Give out an example and elicit the form of
passive sentence with past simple tense.
Ex: a) She bought a book yesterday.
-> A book was bought by her yesterday.
* Form: S + was/ were + p.p + (by + O)
- Ask Ss to change other sentence.
- Correct and feedback.
3. Passive form of present perfect tense:
- Elicit the way to change an active sentence
into a passive sentence with present perfect
tense.
- Give out an example.
Ex: a) They have built this school for two
years.
-> This school has been built (by them) for
two years.
- Ask Ss to do other example.
- Read the example and give out the
form.
- Listen and write down.
- Answer T’s questions:
b) Mr.Brown took Peter and Tim to
the zoo last week.
-> Peter and Tim were taken to the
zoo by Mr.Brown last week.
- Write down.
