Aims: Help Ss to improve listening and speaking skills.
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- know the name of some sports and pastimes.
- practice present progressive tense in correct way.
- ask and answer about the activities are happening around.
Language content:
*Vocab: sport words
* Grammar: present progressive
Preparations: Text-book, lesson plan, cassette, disc
Ways of working: T-WC, individual-work, group-work, pair-work
Anticipated problems:
Weak Ss may have mistakes when using verbs with sport
words.
Solution: Group the words and show the correct way to use.
Procedure
I/ Organization: (1')
- Greeting
- Checking attendance
II/ Warm-up: (7')
- Ask some qs.
1. What do you usually do after school?
2. What are you doing now?
- Present the topic and the main rules of new lesson.
