I. AIMS/OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON
1. Language focus: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- raise their awareness of reasons for overpopulation, the problems countries
with large population are facing with and solutions to the population issues.
- talk about population: reasons, issues and solutions
2. Skills: Speaking + Listening/Writing/Reading
3. Attitudes: Ss are eager to work in pairs or in groups, do the speaking tasks
II. PREPARATION
1. Teacher: - Teaching aids: Lesson plan, text book
- Teaching method: Communicative language teaching
2. Students: - Read Unit 7 - speaking at home
III. PROCEDURE:
1. Class organization (1 minute)
2. Check – up (5 minutes) - Some Ss go to the board, write down new words
