1. Language focus: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- know more about the distribution of population in different parts of the world
- improve listening skill for main ideas and specific information by choosing
the correct answer, answer questions...
2. Skills: Listening + Speaking/Writing/Reading
3. Attitudes: Ss are eager to listen to the passage
II. PREPARATION
1. Teacher: - Teaching aids: Lesson plan, text book
- Teaching method: Communicative language teaching
2. Students: - Read Unit 7 - listening at home
III. PROCEDURE:
1. Class organization (1 minute)
2. Check – up (5 minutes) - Some Ss go to the board, talk about causes and
problems of overpopulation as well as solutions to the problem
3. New lesson (35 minutes)

- Ask students to work in pairs, ask and answer the questions:
