I. AIMS/OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON
1. Language focus
- To develop speaking skills work in groups, in pairs or individually
- To provide students with some new more words and phrases.
2. Skills: To help Ss develop their speaking skills
3. Attitudes: To encourage Ss work in pairs and groups

- Teaching method: Communicative language teaching
2. Students: - Read Unit 12 – speaking at home
III. PROCEDURE
1. Class organization (1 minute)
2. Check – up (5 minutes)
- Some students read and write down new words and phrases
- Some students translate the reading passage into Vietnamese
3. New lesson (35 minutes)

- Work in groups, study the table and do task 2

with a board and a sail. People play it individually.

- Work in pairs, list out advantages of water sports then do
task 3
+ I prefer swimming to water polo because it’s easy to play
