I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Aims: At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- Learn vocabulary about telecommunicative equipments and practise
making arrangements; revise “be going to + bare-inf.” with the intentions.
2. Knowlege:
* Vocabulary: to arrange, downstairs, upstairs, to make a call, to wait a
minute.
* Grammar: Making arrangements.
* Pronunciation: /æ/, /ə/, /eɪ/
3. Skills: Listening, reading and speaking
II. PREPARATION:
1. Teacher: Lesson plan, Textbook, Teacher’s book, cassette,
posters
2. Students: Find out the meaning of words in the box on page 18.
III. PROCEDURES:
1. Warm-up: (5’) Getting started: (Pictures on p.18) (Task for
groupwork)
