practise further in adverbs of manner, modal should, commands, requests
and advice in reported speech.

III. PROCEDURES:
1. Checking: Collects the letters that Ss wrote at home

*) Lead-in:
- Introduces the contents of the lesson.
1. Adverbs of manner. (Part 1-P.52)
- Elicits the examples of adverb of place
and time, then introduces adverb of
manner.
*Examples:
a) We often get up at 5 in the morning
b) I live in Hue
c) She speaks English softly.
d) She smiles in a friendly way
- Asks them to compare them and pick out
the question: When, Where, How
- Checks the meaning, form and give
notes.
- Asks Ss to do exercise 1 in pairs and
share their results.
- Gets feedback and correct.
- Asks Ss to play the roles with the
dialogues in pairs.
- Calls on some pairs to read aloud.
2. Commands and requests in reported
speech .(Part 3-P.53).

modify the verb.
